Visimotus prioritizes using the visual language of film to tell stories. As imperative as it might be, we try not to rely solely on dialogue in our films. Conveying the story and themes with images is our objective. The composition, lighting, and editing of the moving images on screen all affect how the story is interpreted and understood. Even when different languages are spoken, the visual language remains a truly universal means of storytelling.
Human emotion has endless shades and is a difficult phenomenon to visualize. In film, we can only observe the character externally; exploring how they feel internally and connecting with the audience is the main goal of Visimotus. Whether it is isolation, reflection, or the passage of time, being able to feel the emotions on screen is what makes cinema a powerful art form.
