Visimotus was founded by writer / director Tristan Szabo Culbert. Born and raised in New York and having traveled to different countries, Szabo has been exposed to a wide variety of different cultures. His films prioritize themes of the human condition, experiences almost all people go though no matter their background.
Human emotion has endless shades and is a difficult phenomenon to visualize. In film we can only observe the character externally, exploring how they feel internally and connecting with the audience is the main goal of Visimotus.

Cinema is an art form told visually. Either by editing, movement of the camera, or the actions characters take. We wanted a name that reflects the way films are told and experienced.
The name originates from the Latin roots Visio - Sight and Motus - Movement.
Visimotus means to See Movement.
